Karadayan Nombu
Karadayan Nombu is known as Savitri vrutham dedicated to Goddess Shakthi
(Devi).It is celebrated on March 14th, 2012 this year. Married women
observe this vrutham and unmarried girls worship to be blessed with good
husband.We prepare sweet nombu adai and salt adai.We take bath and do
puja and naivedyam adai and butter (vennai) and tie the yellow thread on
the particular time (during the transition of Tamil month Maasi and
Panguni)given in panchangam.
