Kara Boondhi
Ingredients
- Besan (chickpeas flour.)...........2cups
- Rice flour...................................2tbsp
- Cashew nut...............................20
- Curry leaves..............................few
- Chili powder.........................1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida powder..................a pinch
- Salt to taste
Method
- Mix besan , rice flour, salt, chilli powder, with water and make a bhajia like batter.
- It should not thick or watery.Heat a pan with oil .
- When the oil is hot take boondhi thattu put a big spoon of batter.
- Boondhies fall , mix with a kannappai.
- When they are crispy remove them.
- Heat another tawa with little oil add cashew nuts, curry leaves,
- When cashews turn red, add to the mixture.
- Add 1tsp chilli powder and asafoetida powder if needed add salt too.
- This is kara boondhi.
