Rava Upma is very s easy snack. This is usually made for breakfast ,I always make upma with lots vegetables like carrot, onion, peas, capsicum, cauliflower,and beans
Ingredients
- Frozen Vegetables.......... 1cup
- Rava(Suji)...................... 1cup
- (Carrot, Peas and Beans)
- Green Chili.....................4
- Ginger............................1 small piece
- Curry Leaves...................few
- Mustard Seeds...............1tsp
- Urad Dhal......................1tsp
- Chana Dhal..................1tsp
- Salt to taste
Method
- Fry the rava in a pan with out oil till it becomes red..
- Remove and cool it.Heat a pan with oil add mustard seeds, all dhals, green chili, ginger and curry leaves.
- When the dhal becomes red add the vegetables and fry for 5 minutes. add 2 cups of water and salt.
- When the water boils add the rava and mix well.
- When the rava is cooked remove from the flame and cover it.
- Serve with coconut chutney or pickle..
