I tried this bonda and it is very good.
Ingredients
- Raw rice.........................1cup
- Urad dhal.........................1cup
- Onion...............................1
- Curry leaves.....................few
- Grated coconut................1cup
- Green Chili......................4
- Mustard seeds................1tsp
- Salt to taste
Method
- Soak the rice and dhal for about 4 hours and grind into fine paste with salt.
- Heat a pan with oil add mustard,chopped onion,, green chilies, and curry leaves..
- Fry for 5 minutes add the coconut and fry again.
- Then add to the ground mixture.
- Heat oil in pan when it is hot make small balls and drop in the oil.
- Fry them till they become golden.
