- Ingredients
- Mathan or Pumpkin cubed piece 2cups
- Grated coconut 1cup
- Red chili 2
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Raw rice 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Grated coconut (for tampering 1/4 cup
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves few
- Salt to taste
- Method.
- Heat a pan with water add mathan pieces, turmeric and salt.
- Grind coconut, cumin seeds. Chili and rice into coarse paste.
- When the mathan is cooked add the ground paste and mix it
- Heat a pan with oil add coconut, mustard seeds and jeera
